Alleged Shooter in Willard Killings Back in Missouri

January 12, 2021 By kwto

The man suspected of pulling the trigger in a Willard double murder is in the Greene County Jail after extradiction from California.

Duncan Bogle, 20, is facing two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, and endangering the welfare of child in connection with the execution style killings of Alexander Chute and Brianna Sproul. Chute and Sproul were shot in front of their Willard area home in November.

Chute is the ex-husband of Theresa Cox, who had been dating Bogle, and is the alleged mastermind of the murder plot. According to court documents, Cox convinced Bogle to kill her ex-husband in relation to a custody dispute.

The endangering the welfare of a child charge is because the child who was the subject of the custody battle was in the home at the time of the killings.

Bogle, who does not have an attorney listed in Missouri Casenet, is scheduled to have a hearing before judge Ronald Carrier on January 19.
