Community Offering Kind Words, Prayers for Missouri State Broadcaster Art Hains

September 22, 2022 By kwto

Missouri State University’s “Voice of the Bears”, Art Hains is in critical condition with a rare infection that doctors believe is Guillain-Barre syndrome.

While Art and his family continue to fight, sportscasters and personalities from around the country are showing their support for the hall of fame broadcaster.

Missouri State President Clif Smart took to Twitter to voice his support for Hains.

Congressman Billy Long, a longtime Springfield resident, also offered prayers to Hains’ and his family.

Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest offered kind words about the Bears and Chiefs radio personality.

Matt Coatney, radio voice for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, showed his support and offered thanks to Hains as a mentor.

For more information about the latest on Hains’ condition, visit 933kwto.com or 969thejock.com, you can also visit the Springfield News-Leader website.
