Two major business are joining together to give tons of food to Ozarks Food Harvest.
McDonald’s and Tyson Foods, Inc. are donating 33.5 tons of protein and vegetables that will help OFH provide 55,000 means to children, families, and seniors throughout the Ozarks.
McDonald’s is donating 21,000 pounds (10.5 tons) of chicken and 6,000 pounds (3 tons) of its southwest vegetable blend. Tyson is donating 40,000 pounds (20 tons) of chicken.
Both companies have been supporters of the Ozarks Food Harvest since 2008.
Ozarks Food Harvest, located at 2810 North Cedarbrook in Springfield, serves 270 organizations across 28 Ozarks counties.
