The Springfield Police Department Monday afternoon released the name of the man killed in a shooting at 1333 North Concord Avenue on February 26.
SPD investigators say that Stanley R. Taylor, 43, was shot and killed around 3:40 p.m.. Officers found Taylor’s body when they responded to a 911 call informing the dispatcher that someone had been shot.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Springfield Police Department at 864-1810 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 869-8477.
