The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the sole supplier of blood, platelets, and plasma to patients at over 40 healthcare facilities, is inviting donors to make a lifesaving impact this July and enjoy some cool summer rewards.
Throughout the month of July, donors who give blood at any CBCO donor center or mobile blood drive will receive:
- Day Passport Ticket to SuperSplash USA ($44.99 value)
- Summer-themed plush beach towel
- Donors can enter to win a $10,000 dream vacation giveaway, thanks to Springfield Nissan Kia and The Resource Center
“The temperature is rising, and so is the need for blood,” said Michelle Teter, Media Relations Representative for Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. “Summer is a challenging time for the blood supply. School breaks, vacations, and busy schedules often negatively affect summer blood donations, but the need for blood never takes a vacation. We are encouraging everyone to come in, roll up a sleeve and help us keep the heat off the local blood supply. Your donation will give others, right here in the Ozarks, the chance to make new summer memories.”
