Thanks to the generosity of our listeners, we have provided over 550 weekend backpacks full of food! Your donations totaled over $252,316! Over 4 days, listeners have heard touching stories and unthinkable statistics about hunger in the Ozarks and have responded in a huge way.
The Ozarks Food Harvests Weekend Backpack Program serves 62 schools in southwest Missouri. Every Friday, 1,800 students are handed a bag full of food that will give them six meals, as well as snacks, to last them throughout the weekend.
Now, 550 students will be given backpacks thanks to our listeners!
