Springfield is getting all gussied up for the Route 66 Centennial Kick-Off Celebration. In the process, the art scene is expanding by adding the Centennial Sculpture Series.
Route 66 sculptures are designed by different local artists, with each piece telling a unique story. The Route 66 sculptures are placed in different locations throughout the city.
The goal of the series is to showcase regional talent, while creating community around art, history, and creativity.
There are 16 sculptures in the series, below are a handful of sculptures and where you can find them around town!
