While you are celebrating dad this weekend, you might have time to throw in a little extra fun! Here’s a list of activities going on in the Ozarks this Father’s Day Weekend.
Sertoma Duck Race – The Sertoma Duck Race has grown into a 3-day festival full of family fun! The fun takes place at Finley River Park in Ozark. There’s a Duck Waddle 5k, a craft fair, along with the main event- 10,000 rubber ducks raising down the Finley River on Saturday at 7pm.
Friday Balloon Glow – Ozark will be busy this weekend for the 20th Annual Balloon Glow. The event is part of the Sertoma Duck Race Festival. On Friday, June 19, hot air balloons will light up the night sky along the Finley River. The Balloon Glow is scheduled for 9pm.
Dickerson Park Zoo – On Father’s Day dad can get into the Dickerson Park Zoo. The zoo will be open Sunday 9am-5pm.
Springfield Little Theatre – Anything Goes will take the stage at Springfield Little Theater this weekend. Anything Goes is a toe-tapping musical comedy that takes place aboard the S.S. American.
Tent Theater – It’s an Ozark’s summer staple and Tent Theater is back for its 64th season! This is the opening weekend for the 2026 season. Tickets are now available to Around the World in 80 Days.
Go Skateboarding Day! – The Springfield Skate Park will be celebrating 25 years on Sunday, June 21st. From 3pm-9pm you can skate for free. There will also be contests and prize drawings.
