The last weekend of May is here, and 98.7 The Dove has a rundown of things to do in the Ozarks. The weather may not be ideal, with rain in the forecast, but there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the weekend.
Cheer on the Missouri State baseball team as the Bears take on Arkansas in Lawrence, Kansas. The teams will compete in a best-of-three series. The games will be broadcast live on 96.9 The Jock.

Things will get extra stinky at Dickerson Park Zoo this weekend, but it’s all for a good cause. Poo Fest takes place all day Saturday, May 30. With more than 300 animals, there’s plenty of poo at the zoo. Guests can enjoy an educational experience all about animal waste and conservation.
The third annual Food Truck Rally rolls into the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 30. Admission and parking are free. More than 20 food trucks will be on-site, along with live music. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
Football is back in action. The Ozark Lunkers kick off the new season Saturday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m. at Wilson Logistics Arena. Fans can come out and experience arena football up close.
Live From Downtown is bringing live music to Park Central Square every Saturday night from May through September. On Saturday, May 30, the Domino Kings will perform at 7 p.m. The event is free to attend.
The Springfield Botanical Gardens will be hopping with Gigs in the Garden on Sunday, May 31. Annabelle Moore will perform at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
